Theme-Human Environment Interaction
We started day two by waking up at seven so we could prepare for the big hike today. Once we were downstairs, some people got hot chocolate and played UNO. At 8:30, breakfast was ready. For breakfast we had really good tasting french toast, eggs, tater tots, and bacon. After breakfast we started our hike to the top of Cardigan. Pretty early on in the hike we saw these really cool old cellars. A little bit farther up the mountain we saw wild cucumber roots. We dug them up and ate some. They tasted amazing! Once we got to the top the view was amazing. Halfway down Cardigan we saw a Big Ash tree! The day full of hiking made us not get back to the cabin till 4:45. All of the other groups had been there for over 30 minutes! Once we got into bed it felt amazing after being on hard ground all day.
On day two we went to the summit of Cardigan MT. On the way up we saw wild cucumbers. If we ate too many of these this plant might go extinct. At the summit I saw a Firetower with lots of engravings all around it. This is an example of human environment interaction. Another example would be the AMC lodge that we stayed at. These are all types of human environment interaction.
